Jurors dismissed in Kealoha corruption trial, selection continues
45 selected jurors are expected to be questioned in court Friday.
HONOLULU - The long list of possible jurors for the Kealoha corruption trial is getting smaller.
Many were dismissed Wednesday. Some were excused for medical reasons, others because of language barriers or pre-scheduled vacations.
The first 45 selected jurors are expected to be questioned in court Friday. Another batch will come in later. Twelve will sit for the trial.
Judge J. Michael Seabright also discussed opening statements with the attorneys. He expects those to be made next week.
