UPDATE 5/15 4:30 P.M.

The woman found dead on Monday in Anahola has been identified as 45-year-old Wubnesh Hylton.

Hylton had no known address. Results from an autopsy conducted Tuesday are pending.

However, due to preliminary findings, police do not suspect foul play is involved.


A 46-year-old woman was found dead early Monday morning in a parked vehicle at the end of Poha Road, in Anahola.

The woman's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

According to police, a passerby found the woman unresponsive in her vehicle at 6:30 a.m., and called 911. First responders arrived and administered CPR, but the woman could not be revived and she was presumed dead at the scene.

She was later taken to Wilcox Hospital, where a medical doctor formally pronounced her dead.

An autopsy is being scheduled to determine the cause of her death and the investigation is ongoing.
