HONOLULU - A fundraiser to fight cancer in honor of a woman who lost her battle against the disease raised $17,000. Christa Wittmier, known to many as Super CW, was a nightlife columnist, DJ, and a co-founding director of Pow! Wow! Hawai'i.

She died in January after battling cancer for years. KITV4's Maleko McDonnell co-hosted the celebration of life party and fundraiser on Saturday night.

Former Hawaii 5-O star Grace Park gave a speech, as did ABC's Good Doctor star Daniel Dae Kim, who said, "Even when I think back to those the days when I used to say 'Christa, what's good?' I realize that there's really only one answer to that question. 'Christa, you're good, you're the one who's good.'"

All proceeds benefit her family and the non profit group the Aloha Cancer Project.
