Five people are dead and three others are hurt after a small plane crashed into a home outside of Los Angeles.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the twin-engine Cessna 414A crashed in Yorba Linda shortly after taking off from the Fullerton Municipal Airport Sunday afternoon.

Police said the pilot of the plane was killed, as well as four people inside the home where the plane crashed. One of the three people injured was a firefighter.

Security camera video posted on Twitter showed what looked like the moment the plane crashed into the home.

One Twitter user posted a video of debris and flames scattered all over the ground. In the video, you can hear people yelling at others to get away from the engulfed home.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
