Fancy cocktails and beer your jam? Yelper Justin C shares that the High Brau Room in Kakaako is a pretty cool secret place to check out. You'll walk up a flight of stairs and enter through what looks like a residential door. Once you're inside it looks like a grand living room with a bartender inside.
Go low key and kick it with Yelper Jace C at Back Alley Cafe on Sheridan Street! Get laid back, eat, drink and maybe sing karaoke in one of their private rooms. His friends come for the drinks but he comes for the food! Yelpers adore their mentaiko pasta with mayo and spicy chicken wings!
At Bar 35 in Chinatown Yelper Reyn N whispers the bar has a relaxed garage party vibe with an open dance floor, a few long tables, and a patio in the back. Drinks are always poured well and not overpriced. The dress code is casual and the people are friendly.
Yelper Veralyn U swipes right for Amuse Wine Bar that has great dessert wines she's in love with and can't stop getting enough of them. Grab their grilled cheese sandwich with truffle oil and listen to live music every Thursday through Saturday.
Head to Genius Lounge in Waikiki with Yelper Lisa A for a solid happy hour with lots of food choices and drinks on special for just $5. She loves sitting on the outdoor patio that has little tables with cute string lighting, and it's a great place to go with girlfriends before going out or just to catch up after it gets dark.
