A male whale is dead this morning after ingesting too much plastic. He was found on a beach in the Philippines. A necropsy led to finding 88 pounds of plastic in his stomach. The museum team who performed the operation says it's the most plastic the group has ever seen in a whale. Inside his belly were 16 rice bags, four banana bags and several shopping bags.

Suspect for Nanakuli brush fire set to make his plea Monday

OAHU - The suspect in a Nanakuli brush fire is set to make his plea Monday. Michah Araneta Senior is charged with first degree arson. Honolulu Police say, the fire happened on March 6th and burned 20 acres of land above Sea Country and Maili Point. Araneta's criminal history includes a conviction for domestic abuse and arrests for terroristic threatening and criminal property damage.  Bail is set at $50,000.
